Terms and Conditions – [A2B Mobility Limited] Mobility Scooter Hire

These Terms and Conditions govern the rental of mobility scooters from [A2B Mobility Limited] (“we,” “us,” “our”).

By hiring a mobility scooter, you (“the customer,” “you”) agree to abide by these terms.

1. Hire Agreement

1.1. By hiring a mobility scooter, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and capable of operating the equipment

safely.

1.2. You must provide valid identification and proof of address before hiring. Via Email or WhatsApp photograph]

1.3. The hire period begins upon collection/delivery and ends upon return to us. Late returns may result in additional 

charges.

2. Rental Fees &Deposits

2.1. Rental fees are payable in advance, including any security deposit required.

2.2. Deposits will be refunded upon return of the scooter, provided no damage has occurred.

2.3. If a scooter is returned late, additional charges will apply at the daily hire rate.

3. Use of the Scooter

3.1. The scooter is to be used only by the hirer and must not be sublet or loaned.

3.2. The scooter must be used responsibly and in accordance with local laws.

3.3. The scooter is not to be used on motorways, unsuitable terrain, or in hazardous conditions.

3.4. The hirer must not be under the influence of drugs or alcohol while operating the scooter.

4. Condition, Maintenance & Damage

4.1. Scooters are checked before hire and must be returned in the same condition.

4.2. The hirer is responsible for any damage beyond fair wear and tear.

4.3. If the scooter develops a fault, the hirer must notify us immediately and not attempt repairs themselves. Contact

5. Liability

5.1. We provide basic insurance where applicable, but the hirer is responsible for any damage, theft, or loss not covered 

by basic insurance.

5.2. The hirer is responsible for any injury or damage to themselves or others that may be caused while operating the 

scooter/wheelchair.

5.3. We are not liable for any injuries, accidents, or consequential losses arising from scooter/wheelchair use.

6. Breakdowns & Repairs

6.1. If the scooter breaks down due to a mechanical fault, we will arrange for repairs or a replacement.

6.2. If the breakdown is due to misuse, the hirer will be responsible for repair costs.

7. Cancellations & Refunds

7.1. Cancellations made at least 48 hours in advance may be eligible for a refund. 7.2. No refunds will be issued for

cancellations made after the hire period has begun.

7.3. If we cancel a booking due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund or alternative hire option will be offered.

8. Termination of Hire

8.1. We reserve the right to terminate the hire immediately if you breach these terms.

8.2. In the event of termination, the scooter must be returned immediately.

9. Privacy & Data Protection

9.1. We will collect and store your personal data only for the purpose of the hire agreement.

9.2. Your information will not be shared with third parties unless required by law.

10. By hiring a mobility scooter from [A2B Mobility Limited], you confirm that you have read, understood, and 

agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
